General Description:
Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics is seeking a board eligible or board-certified family medicine physician to join our provider group in Audubon, IA in a medical director role. The organization is affiliated with Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA, which is a member of the Nebraska Methodist Health System.

This opportunity provides for traditional and outpatient Family Medicine with no OB required.  Audubon, Iowa is just an hour away from big city amenities to the east and west.  The practice has 2 family physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners with one rural health clinic located on campus and one located in Exira, Iowa which is 10 miles south of the main campus.  Our emergency department is staffed with three full time nurse practitioners and the use of emergency telemedicine with eAvera.

About Us:
Located halfway between Des Moines, IA, and Omaha, NE, Audubon County Memorial Hospital & Clinics is a 25 bed, Critical Access Hospital serving Audubon County and the surrounding areas, with the mission of “Excellence with Quality and Compassion to Those We Serve.” Our services include emergency services, acute care, skilled nursing services, laboratory, radiology, respiratory therapy, sleep studies, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and surgical services. Audubon County Memorial Hospital & Clinics has also been named a 2017 “Top 20 Critical Access Hospital” in the nation by the National Rural Healthcare Association (NRHA) in the past as well.
