|The Audubon County Hospital Foundation is seeking a part-time Foundation Director to be responsible for fundraising efforts, campaign management, grant writing, and for overseeing the administration and programs of the Audubon County Hospital Foundation, under direction of the Hospital Foundation Board. The Foundation Director position allows for a flexible schedule, working 20 to 30 hours per week. The Foundation Director reports to the Foundation Board and is an employee of the Foundation.
The Audubon County Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 1994 to promote and strive for improvement of healthcare facilities and services for residents of Audubon County and the surrounding area. The Audubon County Hospital Foundation consists of a nine-member board and accepts gifts and conducts fundraising events to support Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics’ mission of excellence with quality and compassion to those we serve.
|Formal education in business or related field preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience in fundraising, program coordination, and/or office management preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly developed problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and frequent interruptions. Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines on daily work and special projects. Exceptional customer service skills. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.|
|Audubon County Memorial Hospital & Clinics is a 17 bed, Critical Access Hospital serving Audubon County and the surrounding areas, with the mission of “Excellence With Quality and Compassion to Those We Serve.” Our services include emergency services, acute care, skilled nursing services, laboratory, radiology, respiratory therapy, sleep studies, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and surgical services. In addition, we offer several specialty services including orthopedic, mental health, audiology, plastic surgery, hand and microvascular, sports medicine, pain management, podiatry, dermatology, oncology, spine surgery, cardiology, urology, head and neck surgery, and urology. We also operate two rural health clinics, Audubon Family Health Clinic and Exira Medical Clinic. Our clinics offer complete care from newborns to senior adults by providing well child check-ups, age-appropriate preventative care, sports and school physicals, immunizations, and treatment of occasional and ongoing illnesses.|
