|Position||Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)|
|Provides direct patient care as defined by state licensure requirements. Will work in emergency settings and perform as part of a treatment team. Under general supervision provides urgent/emergency healthcare and performs approved medical services under the direction of the physician – admit, care for and discharge patients in the hospital. Manage and treat patient’s illnesses and injuries through the hospital’s emergency department.|
|Minimum of three years of ER experience. Graduate of an accredited ARNP program with unrestricted license in the state of Iowa as a Nurse Practitioner. Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS required. Credentialed as provider for DEA authority. Able to communicate effectively with all members of the health care team. Able to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change. Must have a working knowledge of computers and Electronic Health Records.|
