James Cunningham, D.O.​

​Dr. Cunningham has been providing service to the Audubon County community for over 30 years. He is Board Certified through the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians; additionally he maintains membership in the American Osteopathic Association, Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association, and Iowa Academy of Family Physicians. He is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Anissa Irlmeier, PA-C

​Anissa J. Irlmeier began working at AFHC in July of 2012. Prior to AFHC Anissa worked at the Manning Family Healthcare Clinic and began there in 1995. Anissa attended Iowa Methodist School of Nursing in Des Moines and she graduated in 1988. She attended the PA program at the University of North Dakota graduating in 1995. Anissa had worked full time in family practice including ER coverage, nursing home, and substance abuse. Her special interests include womens health, mental health, and chronic disease such as diabetes.

Christopher F. Stubbs, M.D.

Dr. Stubbs joined the ACMH team in 2016. He is from Topeka, KS and lives in Audubon with his wife Kristen and two sons, James and Evan. Previously Dr. Stubbs has served patients in both urban and rural environments, everywhere from Chicago to Oklahoma City to Audubon. Dr. Stubbs has found that living and working in a close-knit community like Audubon is extremely rewarding and he looks forward to caring for the patients at ACMH for many years to come! Dr. Stubbs is active in the Audubon community in a variety of different ways. He is the medical director of the Audubon and Exira EMS squad, he is the physician on the Audubon County Board of Health, he is in training to become the Medical Examiner for Audubon County and he is a member of the local Lion’s Club. Dr. Stubbs is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced life support.

Stephanie Vampola, D.O.

Dr. Vampola grew up in Bellevue, Nebraska, and attended undergrad at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, where she majored in Biology and minored in music and Spanish. Dr. Vampola then attended Medical School at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her residency at Trinity Bettendorf Family Practice Residency, serving as Chief Resident in her final year.  She has a passion for treating pediatric, sports medicine, and women’s health patients but is looking forward to serving all health care needs of Audubon County residents.
