Price Transparency

Hospital price transparency helps Americans know the cost of a hospital item or service before receiving it. Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics is committed to support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) objectives to provide clear, accessible pricing information online about the items and services we provide. Beginning January 1, 2021, Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics has incorporated a Patient Estimate generator on our website.

July 2024 Chargemaster (This is a downloadable file.)

Audubon County Memorial Hospital & Clinics is publishing its charge master required by Medicare effective January 1, 2019. This data does not reflect the patient’s expected out-of-pocket costs. Each patient’s out-of-pocket costs are dependent on the patient’s insurance policy. The charge master reflects the amount ACMH bills for its services and in many instances, ACMH is reimbursed at a rate less than the amount charged. Patients should contact their insurance company to understand the costs covered and the amount of patient responsibility. Charges for procedures can include supplies and tests, in addition to the procedure charge.

The charge master is updated no less than annually, generally quarterly or as appropriate.
