ACMH staff and providers enjoyed participating in the 2024 Career Day offered by Audubon County Economic Development. Career Day offered local students from around the area an opportunity to meet with staff members of a large variety of organizations from agriculture to healthcare.

ACMH Summer Olympics!

ACMH co-workers had a great time bonding at the ACMH Olympics! Coordinated by Bliss Weitl and Cassandra Neumann, staff had a week of good natured competition between departments!

ACMH partnered with Lois Potthoff, LMHC, MS, Certified EMDR Consultant and Coach/ CTP from Touching Lives Center to raise awareness for Suicide Prevention. ACMH co-workers and community members came together to support this awareness program.

As homecomings are celebrated for our Audubon County schools Audubon Community School District and Exira-EHK, it is time to celebrate those that make it happen… our teachers, administrators, and staff!

ACMH is proud to be a part of not one, but two homcoming parades! Audubon County has 2 school district; Audubon Community School District and Exira-EHK Community School District. This gives ACMH the opportunity to support both the Wheelers and the Spartans!

ACMH Administration treated employees with some seriously delicious SMOKIN’ food from BB’s SMOKIN Que! We had a blast with local food truck vendors Brian Bird and Lois Potthoff and enjoyed their one-of-a-kind brisket and smoked lasagna! Co-workers also had fun with our version of “What would you do for a Klondike Bar?”

Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics is proud to announce that Kylie Stroeher, CDM, CFPP, Manager of Food & Nutrition Services at ACMH was honored with the Diamond Award from the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals this past June in Reno, NV.

ACMH staff and their families joined in on the fun from the Exira’s 4th of July celebrations, Audubon’s T-Bone festivities, to Exira’s National Night Out, hospital and clinic employees enjoyed celebrating summer!

Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics has received recognition for its participation in the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline Stroke post-acute care initiative to enhance guideline-based care for stroke patients, ultimately improving and prolonging lives.

As summer begins to heat up and students finish school sports, the Audubon County Hospital Foundation board members are proud to reflect on the first recipients of the new ACH Foundation Student Healthcare Scholarship.

Jennifer Schneider, a registered nurse and house supervisor at Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics was honored with the ACMH Employee Recognition Award.

Bridget Jensen, RN of Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics was honored with The DAISY Award® For Extraordinary Nurses. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation’s programs to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.

June 3, 2024, Des Moines, IA: Audubon County Memorial Hospital in Audubon is the ninth hospital in Iowa to be recognized for readiness to provide emergency care for children through the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (Iowa HHS) EMS for Children program’s new Iowa Pediatric Emergency Assessment and Care (IPEAC) Recognition Program, the hospital announced today.

Audubon County Memorial Hospital is supporting the Greenfield Community by collecting monetary donations through May 31st at all clinic locations.

Local nurse, Joan Bauer has dedicated her career to caring for and supporting the community of Audubon County. On April 27^th family, friends, and co-workers (from Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics) walked in the PanCAN PurpleStride to support Joan in her battle against pancreatic cancer.

Audubon, Iowa, Tuesday, May 14, 2024: On April 26, 2024, a devastating tornado ripped through the community of Minden, Iowa. Through this terrible tragedy, the entire staff of Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics rallied around their neighbors.
