Kevin Reynolds is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), who sees patients in a private office on the main level of the hospital. He is trained in a variety of clinical approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sand Tray and Play Therapy.
Kevin has experience working with trauma, specifically that of the military and first responders. As a veteran and former police officer, Kevin finds it incredibly rewarding to work with fellow comrades. He is also passionate about working with adolescents as they navigate the complexities of the transition from youth to adulthood.
“My passion is helping others heal and gain insight into the issues that they are experiencing. I practice a person centered approach as I believe that we tend to be our own best experts. I emphasize a collaborative style during session all the while using my own skills and knowledge to help you progress towards you goals. Personal growth and healing does not have to be something that is an abstract concept, but rather can be a possibility. Life does not always make sense nor is there a guarantee of predictability. It helps to have someone who is unbiased and is present to help you navigate life’s challenges and traumas. I feel that sometimes as adults we have a tendency to ignore our own needs in order to remain focused on the tasks of the day. Sometimes we need to make time for ourselves. I look forward to working with you.” – Kevin Reynolds.
