Foundation

The Audubon County Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 1994 to promote and strive for improvement of healthcare facilities and services for residents of Audubon County and the surrounding area. The Foundation consists of a seven-member board representing the urban and rural areas of the county and a Director of Development. The board accepts gifts and conducts fundraising events. The board then utilizes funds to promote positive changes in healthcare so that present and future generations may experience improved health and greater quality of life. Above all, the Foundation supports Audubon County Memorial Hospital’s mission of excellence with quality and compassion to those we serve.

2026 ANNUAL GIVING INFORMATION

Dear Friends,

Your contributions have helped make Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics become designated as one of the Top 100 and even Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation numerous times, over the past decade! We are so grateful to you for supporting our committed team of caregivers.

Your 2025-2026 donations will help the Audubon County Hospital Foundation support Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics by helping to purchase the NEW Hologic Envision Mammography Unit.

The Envision is redesigned to be the most advanced, patient-centric breast imaging platform on the market. It offers patients the fastest 3D imaging scan time and reduces the amount of time patients are in compression. Utilizing a SmartCurve paddle that mirrors the patients shape reduces pinching and applies a more uniform compression.

The Envision has a new tilt positioning feature that is designed to help improve positioning for all patients and is likely to capture more breast tissue. Millimeters matter and this new platform is designed to be inclusive, accessible, and inviting to all women-especially extensive patient types, such as kyphotic, frozen shoulder, or wheelchair users.
