  • Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics (ACMH) is currently serving as the COVID-19 vaccination site for Audubon County.  Although ACMH has provided vaccination to everyone in Phase 1A that wanted the vaccine, the State of Iowa will not approve further vaccination for Phase 1B groups until the health care workforce in Iowa has reached 60-70% coverage.

  • On Monday, December 21, 2020, Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics (ACMH) received the first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, and has been administering to eligible healthcare personnel according to the CDC and Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) guidelines. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued COVID-19 vaccine distribution guidance which directs jurisdictions to plan for a three-phased approach to vaccine distribution.

  • Audubon County Memorial Hospital has received enough personal protective equipment over the last week to re-open our Exira Exira Medical Clinic on a limited basis. The clinic had been temporarily closed for the safety of the staff and to maximize the use of limited PPE. Our provider, Val Riesberg, and Christie Konkler and Julie Vais will staff the clinic starting this Friday, April 3rd. After this Friday, the clinic will be open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
