Audubon, IA, December 12, 2023 –Each year the Audubon County Hospital Foundation holds a holiday wreath fundraiser where a portion of the proceeds goes to support their annual giving campaign.

Audubon, IA, December 8, 2023 – Receiving a cancer diagnosis is a life-changing experience and one that requires compassion, patience, and support. For 30 years, Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics oncologist, Dr. Robert Warner has dedicated his practice to caring for patients with a personalized plan of care.

Audubon, IA, November 9, 2023 – The Audubon County Hospital Foundation purchased the Sensory Edge Mirror and Wire Bead Wall Activity Toy for the pediatric corner of the waiting room in the Exira Medical Clinic. This wall toy helps with fine motor skills, but even more importantly, it will be used to help create a sense of comfort and ease in the doctor’s office.

Audubon, IA, November 10, 2023 – In recognition of National Diabetes Awareness Month, Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics is committed to raising awareness of diabetes.

AUDUBON, IA, NOVEMBER 10, 2023 – As part of National Rural Health Day, Audubon County Memorial Hospital today announced it has been recognized with a 2023 Performance Leadership Award for excellence in Quality. Compiled by the Chartis Center for Rural Health, the Performance Leadership Awards honor top quartile performance (i.e., 75^th percentile or above) among rural hospitals in Quality, Outcomes and/or Patient Perspective.

[Audubon, IA, November 11, 2023] – ACMH is proud to join communities across America in celebration of National Rural Health Day (NRHD) on November 16, 2023. The National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) and rural-focused organizations throughout the United States set aside the third Thursday of November to recognize NRHD.

Audubon, IA, November 8, 2023, – During October, Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics hosted a group of local high school students that are currently enrolled in Des Moines Area Community College’s Health Occupations Class.

 Audubon, IA, November 8, 2023 – ACMH and Dr. Stephanie Vampola, Family Medicine Physician, were proud to host Myrtue Medical Center’s Dr. Kelly Anderson, OB/GYN at the Chamber Coffee held at the hospital this October.

Audubon, IA, November 1- 2, 2023-  Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics healthcare professionals, Christy Konkler CMA, Melissa Vinke CMA, and Amy Gray RN attended the Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases – Pink Book Course at the Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines, IA on November 1-2, 2023.

Audubon, IA, October 23, 2023 – Matter of Balance is a falls prevention program designed to decrease fear of falling for participants.

Audubon, IA, October 17, 2023 – The Audubon County Hospital Foundation is a proud recipient of the IMT Community Contest grant for the Audubon County Memorial Hospital (ACMH) program the Community Breast Health Education Series.
