Roxane Rupiper, RN Celebrates Retirement with ACMH Co-workers

Last month the employees of Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics celebrated the retirement of their beloved co-worker, Roxane Rupiper, RN.  The Med/Surg staff hosted a large number of co-workers who gathered at the Audubon Rec Center to surprise Roxie with a party. It was a true surprise as she had just come from her garden!

Roxie Rupiper began her nursing career at ACMH in 2015.  Early on at ACMH, Roxie was recognized by the community and her co-workers. In 2018, ACMH honored Roxie with the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. This international program honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence our nurses bring to their patients every day.

Roxie’s contribution to the healthcare industry throughout her career is highly respected among her peers. ACMH greatly values the compassion and care she gave to each of her patients.

Director of Nursing Services at ACMH, Cassey Neumann, RN, said, “Roxie has dedicated most of her life to caring for others and has done so in such an admirable way. She has been one of the most empathetic and conscientious nurses I have had the pleasure of working alongside. ACMH will miss her, but she deserves to enjoy her retirement. We are appreciative of the years of service she dedicated to caring for our patients.”

While Roxie might be leaving ACMH, she has planted seeds here that will continue to grow for years to come.
