Audubon County Memorial Hospital & Clinics Celebrates National Rural Health Day!

Rural communities are wonderful places to live and work — which is why over 60 million people call them home. Today we “Celebrate the Power of Rural” by honoring the selfless, committed, community-minded spirit of rural America. Rural communities also have unique healthcare needs and we know there is work to be done to enhance healthcare services in rural areas. However, we also believe there is plenty to celebrate! Check out the information below about healthcare in rural America!

ACA Health Insurance Open Enrollment is November 1 Through December 15

ACA health insurance enrollment begins Today (Nov. 1) and ends December 15. This is a shorter time period and not widely promoted information. If you need to look into Marketplace insurance with subsidies to help pay for it, do it now. There are also fewer people staffed this year to help with questions and solving issues, so don’t delay. Click Here for more information! For those who have Medicare, Open enrollment ends Dec 7th. It is important to compare supplemental plans and prescription drug plans every year. Click Here for more information!
