ACMH Student Intern Spotlight on Bristol Finley

Growing up, Bristol Finley spent a lot of time at Audubon County Memorial Hospital.  Whether it was visiting family or watching her mom get her blood drawn, the hospital was always a familiar place. Now, she’s come full circle, working as an intern lab technician while earning her Biology/Medical Laboratory Science degree at Upper Iowa University.

ACMH receives the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines- Stroke Rural Recognition Silver Award

People who live in rural communities live an average of three years fewer than urban counterparts and have a 40% higher likelihood of developing heart disease and face a 30% increased risk for stroke mortality, according to an American Heart Association’s presidential advisory on rural health. Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics is committed to changing that.
