Audubon, IA, September 26, 2023 – This September, Dr. Stephanie Vampola’s Pop-Up Fitness Series began with a free Pop-Up yoga class. Dr. Vampola and more than a dozen community members of all ages and levels rolled out their mats as they progressed through various yoga poses.

 Audubon, IA, September 15, 2023 – On Friday February 15^th, Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics hosted a Chamber Coffee with General Surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Maire.

Audubon, Iowa- September 12, 2023: Last week was bittersweet for the staff at Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics. Staff members gathered to celebrate the retirement of ACMH nurse, Linda Holland. Through laughter and tears and flowers and pecan rolls, everyone wished Linda well in her well-deserved retirement.

On June 2, 2023, The Audubon County Hospital Foundation (ACHF) celebrated a milestone as Foundation board members hosted the 25^th Annual Golf Fundraiser.

Audubon County Memorial Hospital will be hosting SHIIP’s free “Welcome to Medicare” seminar on Tuesday, July 18th from 7 to 9 p.m. in the hospital’s Community Health Center on the first floor.

As the weather turns, the warmth of spring holds the promise of outdoor activities. One of America’s favorite leisure activities is gardening which can be difficult for those with limited movement or stamina. Occupational therapists help people engage in occupations, like gardening, that make life more meaningful.

Audubon County Memorial Hospital’s new speaker series initiative launched in March with Dr. Jeff Maire, General Surgeon at ACMH as a guest speaker for the Audubon Lion’s Club monthly meeting.

While the Easter Bunny has hopped away, ACMH families have great memories from Easter weekend at the hospital! ACMH staff members brought their families to the annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by our Employees Club.
The little ones had fun hunting for eggs and candy outside and enjoyed being surprised by the Easter Bunny!

National Healthcare Decisions Day educates and empowers the public and healthcare providers to take part in important advance care planning.

As March came to a close, we were reminded once again of the importance of raising awareness for Colorectal Cancer. On Tuesday, March 28th, Dr. Jeffrey Maire was a guest speaker at the Audubon Lions Club meeting doing just that.

Audubon County Memorial Hospital & Clinics is proud to announce Heather Toft, Physician Clinic Director, has completed the recertification process to earn the title of Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional. Heather was originally one of only two RHC Professionals in the state of Iowa to pass the certification exam in 2018. There are now almost 50 Certified Rural Health Clinic Professionals in the state.

Audubon County Memorial Hospital staff members joined Audubon County community volunteers to help prepare around 35,000 meals for Meals from the Heartland.

ACMH staff members attended Wellness Day at Audubon High School. Staff members joined students and other community members as they listened to keynote speaker, Emma Benoit discuss the importance of mental health awareness and prevention.

Audubon, IA, February 17, 2023 – Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics’ (ACMH) Med-Surg/Emergency Department Director, Cassandra Neumann, RN, BSN has been honored by the Great Iowa Nurses program as a 2023 Great Iowa Nurse.

Audubon, IA, February 14, 2023 – On Friday February 10^th, Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics hosted a Chamber Coffee to welcome its newest primary care provider, Dr. Jon Swanson.
