Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics is proud to announce that Kylie Stroeher, CDM, CFPP, Manager of Food & Nutrition Services at ACMH was honored with the Diamond Award from the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals this past June in Reno, NV.
The Diamond Award recognizes one chapter from the nation each year that has gone above and beyond the chapter minimum standards and embodied ANFP’s mission, vision, and strategic plan which exemplify dedication to members through chapter initiatives and enthusiastic leadership.
Stroeher who currently serves as the President of the Iowa Chapter of the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP), was present at the conference where it was announced that the Iowa chapter won all six chapter awards including being a finalist for the Diamond Award.
Members of ANFP from chapters across the nation were present at the Honors Gala when it was announced that Stroeher and her Iowa team won the Diamond Award.
Diamond Award winners are presented with this prestigious award during the Honors Gala at the annual convention and expo each year. Recipients of this award are not made aware of the committee’s selection prior to this event and are often surprised to the delight of those in attendance at the Honors Gala as well as the winning chapter.
Receiving the award on behalf of her chapter, Stroeher states, “Winning the Diamond Award for the Iowa Chapter means the world to me! Members of the Iowa chapter travel every year to the ACE Conferences. Having a huge Iowa support base, along with my husband at the conference when they announced Iowa as this year’s winner, was simply amazing!”
The chapter that receives the Diamond Award is also recognized in Edge magazine and on ANFP’s website year-round.
