General Description:
This position has primary responsibility for food preparation, following standardized menu instructions and recipes. Follows established sanitation and safety procedures in the preparation and disposal of food items. Serves food items on tray-line and keeps work areas, equipment, and utensils and tools washed/sanitized. Assists in the loading and transporting of food carts to designated patient area. May bake as required and assist with dish washing.
Experience/Education Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED is required. The ability to read, write and speak English is mandatory. Previous dietary/food service experience preferred. Understanding relationship of sanitation and infection control preferred. Must have ability to calculate measurements in recipes to increase or decrease servings.

Physical Therapist Assistant (Full-Time)

General Description:
The physical therapist assistant (PTA) is responsible for assisting the physical therapist in the provision of physical therapy, performing physical therapy procedures and selected tasks that have been selected and delegated by the supervising physical therapist in the care of infant pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, and modifying a specific intervention in accordance with changes in the status of the patient and within the scope of the plan of care established by the physical therapist.
Experience/Education Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant associate degree program required. Licensed in the State of Iowa required. Must be familiar with electronic health records and have basic computer skills. Must maintain all certifications as required by job function or by law. Perform all levels of testing complexity and analysis on biological specimens to provide information used in the diagnosis, prevention or treatment of disease. Utilize a variety of procedures that may involve numerous detailed tests and techniques that require the use of professional judgment. Carries out a variety of complex procedures involving considerable independent judgment. The incumbent must be able to perform procedures of moderate and high complexity in Hematology, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, Chemistry, Immunology and Microbiology. Works with all levels within the organization and maintains positive relationships, cooperation, communication and coordination of all activities.
Experience/Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited program of laboratory as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) or Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) is mandatory. Experience in laboratory preferred. Ability to adapt to flexible work schedule and frequent interruptions. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. General Description:
Responsible for supervising all of the Laboratory department operational procedures and staff. In charge of equipment maintenance, inventory, reorganizing, and continually updating the department’s policies and procedures and educating staff. Assists with overseeing the budget, department operations, staffing, and resource needs. Makes sure the department is in compliance with both regulatory and accrediting organizations. Serves as a working supervisor and performs the functions of all positions and areas within the department frequently and as needed.
Experience/Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited program of laboratory with current certification as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) or Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) OR completion of a 4-year degree in related sciences. 5 years of laboratory experience required. Ability to adapt to flexible work schedule and frequent interruptions. Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines on daily work and special projects. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills. Must exhibit a high degree of responsibility for confidential matters. Must have demonstrated experience leading others and coaching employees. Provider relations experience preferred.

Develops and implements physical therapy treatment programs in the treatment of neonatal through geriatric patients. Plans treatment programs designed to relieve pain, improve function, and return to maximum level of performance based on individual patient needs identified by thorough evaluation. This evaluation may be administered independently or under referral from a healthcare provider. Develops and administers individual treatment plans for physical rehabilitation. The organization is affiliated with Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA, which is a member of the Nebraska Methodist Health System.

This opportunity provides for traditional and outpatient Family Medicine with no OB required.  Audubon, Iowa is just an hour away from big city amenities to the east and west.  The practice has 2 family physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners with one rural health clinic located on campus and one located in Exira, Iowa which is 10 miles south of the main campus.  Our emergency department is staffed with three full time nurse practitioners and the use of emergency telemedicine with eAvera.
