Responsible for overseeing clinical and business operations, staff management, regulatory compliance, and strategic leadership for Audubon Family Health Care and Exira Medical Clinic. Oversees the Clinic budget and budget preparation. Assesses clinical operations, staffing and resource needs. Works collaboratively with providers, staff and other health care professionals to provide care coordination for all patients within the clinic office setting. Coordinates a wide range of self-management support and disease registry activities for the clinic’s entire patient population. | |
Experience/Education Requirements: | |
Minimum of three (3) years of clinic leadership experience required. Minimum of bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, nursing or related field required (master’s degree preferred). Must be familiar with electronic health records and have basic computer skills. Required to maintain all certifications as required by job function or by law. Must possess and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, written and oral communication skills, and leadership skills. Must demonstrate ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment and strong customer service orientation.

Provides quality nursing care to patients; implements specific procedures and programs; coordinates work within the department, as well as with other departments; reports pertinent information to supervising RN; responds to inquiries or requests for information; and assists the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations. Performs a wide variety of duties relative to patient admitting, clerical support, supplies/inventory, etc. Acts as a patient, patient family member/friend and visitor greeter. As such, cooperates, communicates and coordinates activities at all levels within the organization. Will also be expected to function as the Ward Clerk as necessary. | |
Experience/Education Requirements: | |
High School graduate or equivalent. Completion of CNA courses with current CNA certification in the state of Iowa. Current BLS certification. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Basic computer knowledge. Experience as a CNA desired.
