ACH Foundation Concludes 2025 Annual Giving Campaign and Announces 2026 Initiative

Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics (ACMH) is pleased to announce that its Med-Surg and Emergency Room Departments have received two Vapotherm Respiratory units funded through the Audubon County Hospital Foundation’s 2025 Annual Giving Campaign. The Foundation dedicated its fundraising efforts throughout the year to securing these units, which will significantly enhance respiratory care services at ACMH.

ACH Foundation Continues Annual “Books for Kids” Initiative for Fourth Consecutive Year

The ACH Foundation has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting early childhood education by providing books to kindergarten students at Audubon and EEHK through its annual “Books for Kids” initiative. This marks the fourth consecutive year the Foundation has sponsored the program, underscoring its dedication to investing in the youth of Audubon County.

It started with one mom, two young servicemen and an everyday conversation.

Boni Johnson, RN (a nurse at ACMH Rural Healthcare Clinics) has 2 sons that serve in the military and are currently stationed overseas, one in Iraq and the other in Syria.

BECKY BRUCH, RN HONORED AS 2025 DAISY AWARD WINNER

Becky Bruch, RN of Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics was recently honored for the second time, with The DAISY Award® For Extraordinary Nurses. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation’s programs to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.

ACMH Hosts FREE Welcome to Medicare Seminar

Turning 65 years old soon? Audubon County Memorial Hospital will be hosting a free seminar “Welcome to Medicare” on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Community Health Center in the Audubon Hospital on the first floor.

ACMH Joins Nationwide Observance of National Rural Health Day

Audubon County Memorial Hospital is proud to join communities across America in celebration of National Rural Health Day (NRHD) on November 20, 2025. The National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) and rural-focused organizations throughout the United States set aside the third Thursday of November to recognize NRHD. This annual event is an opportunity to celebrate the “Power of Rural” and honor the individuals and organizations dedicated to addressing the unique healthcare needs of nearly 61 million people living in rural America.

ACMH Recognized by State of Iowa for Quality Infrastructure

Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics was recognized by the State of Iowa’s Department of Health and Human Services for fulfilling Critical Access Hospital Quality Infrastructure Elements and Criteria for 2024.

ACH Foundation Launches Annual Giving Campaign with Holiday Wreath Sale

The Audubon County Hospital Foundation is excited to spread the holiday spirit by launching its Annual Giving Campaign with a Holiday Wreath fundraiser. Pre-decorated wreaths, provided by The Market Greenhouse in Exira, will be available for pre-order until November 14th. A portion of the proceeds will go toward this year’s annual giving campaign initiative.
