ACMH is excited to welcome an additional Mental Health Counselor to our Outpatient Specialty Clinic– starting at the end of October! Lois Potthoff is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Certified Trauma Professional, and a Certified EMDR Consultant and Coach, who has over 30 years’ experience working in the field of mental illness and developmental disorders.

Lois specializes in trauma, attachment, and developmental disorders, and couples counseling, and also treats many other common issues including; PTSD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use, and somatic disorders. Ms. Potthoff has also received specialized training in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Play Therapy, Lifespan Integration, and Ego State therapies. Lois enjoys working with children and is also committed to helping people rediscover their true sense of self and reconnect with their life purpose. Lois works with children adolescents, adults and families.
