Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics (ACMH) is excited to announce the expansion of its OB/GYN services with the addition of Kelly Anderson, FACOOG, D.O. to the ACMH Outpatient Specialty Clinic team.
Dr. Anderson joins the Outpatient Specialty Clinic through a partnership established in 2023 between Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics (ACMH) and Myrtue Medical Center (MMC). This collaboration was formed in response to the growing shortage of obstetric services in rural communities.
Dedicated to supporting women’s health at every stage of life, Dr. Anderson has been working with the ACMH Rural Health Clinics to provide prenatal and birthing services through Myrtue Medical Center, with follow-up care coordinated by ACMH primary care providers.
Due to the success of this joint venture, services have expanded to the ACMH Outpatient Specialty Clinic. In this role, Dr. Anderson will provide comprehensive women’s services, including annual exams, family planning, prenatal and postnatal care, menopause management, and gynecologic surgeries.
Dr. Anderson will continue to deliver the babies of Audubon County at the Birthing Center at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan, Iowa.
