Clinic Director – Physician Clinics (Full-Time)

General Description:
Responsible for overseeing clinical and business operations, staff management, regulatory compliance, and strategic leadership for Audubon Family Health Care and Exira Medical Clinic. Oversees the Clinic budget and budget preparation. Assesses clinical operations, staffing and resource needs. Works collaboratively with providers, staff and other health care professionals to provide care coordination for all patients within the clinic office setting. Coordinates a wide range of self-management support and disease registry activities for the clinic’s entire patient population.
Experience/Education Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years of clinic leadership experience required. Minimum of bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, nursing or related field required (master’s degree preferred). Must be familiar with electronic health records and have basic computer skills. Required to maintain all certifications as required by job function or by law. Must possess and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, written and oral communication skills, and leadership skills.  Must demonstrate ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment and  strong customer service orientation.

CNA/Ward Clerk Med-Surg/ED (Full-Time)

Position: CNA/Ward Clerk
Department: Med-Surg/ED
Hours:   Full-Time (36 hours per week – nights- weekend package option available)
General Description:
Provides quality nursing care to patients; implements specific procedures and programs; coordinates work within the department, as well as with other departments; reports pertinent information to supervising RN; responds to inquiries or requests for information; and assists the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations. Performs a wide variety of duties relative to patient admitting, clerical support, supplies/inventory, etc. Acts as a patient, patient family member/friend and visitor greeter. As such, cooperates, communicates and coordinates activities at all levels within the organization. Will also be expected to function as the Ward Clerk as necessary.
Experience/Education Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent. Completion of CNA courses with current CNA certification in the state of Iowa. Current BLS certification. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Basic computer knowledge. Experience as a CNA desired.

Registered Nurse (RN) Surgery/Specialty Clinics (Full-Time)

General Description:
Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care for a specific group of patients. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care of patients in the outpatient setting including Specialty Clinics, Surgical Services, Cardiac Rehab, and Infusions. Is responsible for managing supplies and equipment in the Clinic and O.R. and for promoting teamwork with providers and personnel from other departments. Additionally, performs general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
Experience/Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited program of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa is mandatory. Three to five (3-5) years of surgical experience preferred. Must be familiar with electronic health records and have basic computer skills. Must maintain all certifications as required by job function or by law. Must possess and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong customer service orientation.

RN-Resource/Triage Nurse

Position: RN-Resource/Triage Nurse

General Description:
Works collaboratively with providers, staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care management and care coordination across the health care continuum in order to improve outcomes and lower the cost of care. Assists provider and clinical staff with clerical/clinical functions for patients requiring chronic disease coordination. Acts as an integral member of the healthcare team who works to ensure safety, best practice, and high-quality standards of care are maintained. Works to ensure members are able to navigate through the healthcare continuum by improving the coordination of care and member/family experience. Coordinates a wide range of self-management support services as well as a wide range of community-based and health care support services for members. Works with providers, staff, and other resources to address specific quality improvement initiatives. Performs all functions of clinic nurse on a regular basis.
Experience/Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited program of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa is required. Prior experience in nursing, physician clinic settings, care coordination, or similar preferred. Ability to adapt to flexible work schedule and frequent interruptions. Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines on daily work and special projects. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills. Must exhibit a high degree of responsibility for confidential matters.
