Sydnee Partridge, RT(R)(M)(CT) Honored with the ACMH ROSE Award

Sydnee Partridge, RT(R)(M)(CT), employee at Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics was honored with the first ever 2025 ROSE Award.  Sydnee Partridge has worked as an ACMH radiology technician in the Radiology Department since 2021.

RN, House Supervisor (Full-Time)

Position: RN, House Supervisor (Full-Time)
Department: Med-Surg/ED
Hours:   Full-Time, 36 hours per week (7pm-7am, every 3rd weekend)
General Description:
Plans, directs and evaluates the overall nursing care and functions of Audubon County Memorial Hospital during an assigned shift. Coordinates the nursing activities of the hospital and directs, organizes and assigns work to the nursing staff. Assesses, monitors, and educates the nursing staff on patient care. Coordinates activities within the hospital including assisting with staffing, patient flow, and coordination of hospital activities. Assists as directed in data collection and monitoring aspects of patient care. Acts as a resource person for nursing staff, and also for other departments within the hospital as indicated. Manages situations that arise in the hospital. The House Supervisor is a Registered Nurse that demonstrates leadership and provides guidance to the health care team while they are providing services to patients and/or families. The House Supervisor serves as a resource person to staff, providers, and patients. They determine staffing needs, monitor bed availability and appropriate placement of patients. The nurse in this role assumes an interdisciplinary role by assuming responsibilities for various departments in the absence of administration.
Experience/Education Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa is mandatory. Prior supervisory experience in a hospital-setting, preferred. Emergency department experience preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of hospital nursing experience required. Must be familiar with electronic health records and have basic computer skills. Must maintain all certifications as required by job function or by law. Must possess and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong customer service orientation.

On February 20, staff at Audubon County Memorial Hospital & Clinics celebrated “Hoodie Hoo Day,” which is a special day which falls on February 20 every year and is celebrated by going outside, waiving your hands over your head and shouting “Hoodie-Hoo” to scare away Winter and make way for Spring! Hours:   PRN (requirement of 24 hours every 6 weeks) 
General Description:
Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care for a specific group of patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical and emergency care setting.  Communicates with physicians and co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.  Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Coordinates care in collaboration with the patient, family, nurses, peers, physicians, and allied health care providers.  Assumes responsibility for the outcome of nursing care delivered. Additionally, performs general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
