ACH Foundation Continues Annual “Books for Kids” Initiative for Fourth Consecutive Year

The ACH Foundation has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting early childhood education by providing books to kindergarten students at Audubon and EEHK through its annual “Books for Kids” initiative. This marks the fourth consecutive year the Foundation has sponsored the program, underscoring its dedication to investing in the youth of Audubon County.

As part of the event, each student received a take-home book following an in-class reading by Audubon County Memorial Hospital’s Dr. Vampola, who returned again this year to share a seasonal story with the kindergarten classes.

“Our kindergarteners were so excited to have Dr. Vampola come read a Thanksgiving book this year,” said Mrs. Karns of Audubon Elementary. “They were even more excited to get to take a book home with them!

The ACH Foundation is pleased by the enthusiastic response from students and educators and hopes the annual initiative helps foster a love of reading while ushering in the holiday season.
