Audubon County Memorial Hospital & Clinics is pleased to announce the appointment of Callen Weispfennig as its new Chief Executive Officer.
An award-winning and innovative healthcare leader, Mr. Weispfennig brings experience advancing patient care, operational excellence, and financial sustainability across hospitals, clinics, and health systems.
Throughout his career, Mr. Weispfennig has led strategic growth initiatives, improved clinical and financial performance, and built strong community partnerships. His leadership has resulted in increased patient volumes, expanded service lines, and the successful management of multimillion-dollar healthcare budgets.
Notable achievements include leading programmatic growth across hospital and clinic services at Essentia Health Fosston and advancing service line development at St. Cloud Hospital, resulting in improved access, patient volumes, and financial performance. In addition to his executive leadership, Callen has a strong history of professional volunteerism, most notably through his service on the board of the Minnesota Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), where he has helped support leadership development and advance healthcare management across the region.
Dedicated to rural healthcare and community-based care, Mr. Weispfennig is committed to advancing the mission of Audubon County Memorial Hospital & Clinics by ensuring accessible, high-quality services for the region. His collaborative approach and strategic vision make him well-suited to lead the organization into its next phase of growth.
Mr. Weispfennig will step into his role as Chief Executive Officer of ACMH on Monday, June 23, 2025.
