ACMH is proud to announce that Ann Huegerich, Outpatient Specialty Clinic Receptionist at Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics was honored with the 2026 first quarter ACMH Employee Recognition Award.
Ann Huegerich has worked at ACMH for 30+ years. Ann’s lifelong commitment to ACMH shows her steadfast dedication to the Audubon County community. ACMH is proud to have Ann in her role as the OPC receptionist where she provides the highest quality of patient care.
Ann is the eight recipient of the ACMH Employee Recognition Award and was nominated by Deanna Beyerink, Revenue Cycle Director.
Deanna Beyerink wrote the following about Annin her nomination form “I am writing to recognize and express my sincere appreciation for Ann’s contributions to ACMH. Ann shows hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence and this has not gone unnoticed.
Ann demonstrates daily what excellent patient care is. She is constantly on the phone and in the halls making sure that each and every patient is where they need to be.
She maintains the schedules for MULTIPLE providers and does this without complaint. The Outpatient Clinic is a very busy clinic and has constant changes and Ann works through each and every hurdle with professionalism.
Even during the most challenging days Ann remains steadfast. Ann has a great relationship with our OPC providers, and they respect and appreciate her.
Ann has great respect for all staff at ACMH. She has a great relationship with her coworkers and her coworkers respect and value her. She also has a great sense of humor which lightens those stressful days!
I have been in the halls and heard her interactions with our patients as well as being a patient myself. She is kind, caring and professional. She makes every patient feel welcome the minute they enter the department.
Ann is an amazing chaos coordinator and her dedication and commitment to her team, our providers and most importantly our patients has a positive impact on ACMH.”

ACMH developed the Employee Recognition Award to honor employees who go above and beyond the scope of their duties. Callen Weispfennig, CEO of ACMH said, “We have so many employees that go above and beyond in caring for our patients and their fellow co-workers. This is an opportunity for staff members to nominate any ACMH staff member.”
In order to be considered for this award, the nomination letter must highlight how the employee meets the values of the organization: Teamwork, Accountability, Integrity, Respect, Service Excellence, Stewardship. To determine the award honoree, these nominations are reviewed on a quarterly basis, reviewed by department heads, and voted on using a closed ballot.
