ACMH Hosts LifeServe Blood Drive and Collects 19 Units of Blood

Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics recently hosted a LifeServe Blood Center blood drive, collecting 19 units of blood to help support patients in need.

The drive included 19 scheduled appointments and 16 successful donations, with the collected blood having the potential to impact up to 57 local lives.

The event also welcomed four first-time blood donors and recognized three returning donors who reached significant donation milestones. One donor reached 8 gallons donated, while two donors reached 2 gallons.

ACMH is grateful to everyone who donated, encouraged others to participate or helped make the blood drive a success.

“Every donation makes a difference,” said Kristina Feldhans, MLT (ASCP), Director of Laboratory. “We are incredibly proud of the generosity of our community and our staff and appreciate everyone who came together to support local patients.”

ACMH and LifeServe Blood Center encourage eligible community members to consider donating at future blood drives.
