Audubon County Memorial Hospital (ACMH) and Shelby County Ambulance Service (SCAS) are pleased to announce a formal partnership that began August 1, 2026, focused on strengthening emergency patient transport and improving access to timely, coordinated care.
ACMH was proud to be part of this year’s T-Bone Festival and appreciated the opportunity to connect with community members throughout the event.

ACMH employees and their families kicked off the festival at the T-Bone 5K Fun Run in support of mental health awareness. From speedy runners to casual walkers, everyone brought the energy and helped support a cause that matters.
Growing up, Bristol Finley spent a lot of time at Audubon County Memorial Hospital. Whether it was visiting family or watching her mom get her blood drawn, the hospital was always a familiar place. Now, she’s come full circle, working as an intern lab technician while earning her Biology/Medical Laboratory Science degree at Upper Iowa University.

Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics announces the opening of the new ACMH Behavioral Health Clinic (ABHC). Callen Weispfennig, CEO of ACMH remarked, “We are excited to welcome Shelli Brown, PMHNP, to ACMH. Her addition allows us to expand our services to include behavioral health, an area of significant need in our communities. Across the country, behavioral health services remain one of the most pressing unmet needs, and rural Iowa is no exception.”
