Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics (ACMH) employees were excited to have the opportunity to host an activity for the Exira-EHK STEAM Night this year.
Exira-EHK Elementary students were able to explore the world through a series of hands-on STEAM events designed to inspire curiosity and creativity. Local organizations and companies were available and highlighted careers where science, technology, engineering, art, and math come together. Students rotated through activity stations led by local professionals, teachers, and community volunteers.
The STEAM healthcare event encouraged students to think critically, work collaboratively, and imagine possible future careers. Teachers noted that the hands-on experiences helped students better understand how professionals use creativity and problem-solving every day to improve lives.
By combining education with real-world applications, Exira-EHK Elementary created an engaging event that inspired students to explore the many possibilities within STEAM fields.
