Jennifer Schneider, RN Honored with the ACMH Employee Recognition Award

Jennifer Schneider, a registered nurse and house supervisor at Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics was honored with the ACMH Employee Recognition Award.

This year, ACMH developed a new award to honor employees who go above and beyond the scope of their duties. Suzanne Cooner, CEO of ACMH said, “We have so many employees that go above and beyond in caring for our patients and their fellow co-workers. This is an opportunity for staff members to nominate any staff member employed by ACMH.”

In order to be considered for this award, the nomination letter must showcase how the employee meets the values of the organization: Teamwork, Accountability, Integrity, Respect, Service Excellence, Stewardship. To determine the award honoree, these nominations are reviewed on a quarterly basis, reviewed by department heads, and voted on using a closed ballot.

Jennifer Schneider is the first recipient of the ACMH Employee Recognition Award and was nominated by her supervisor, the Director of Nursing, Cassandra Neumann, RN. In her nomination letter, Neumann explained that “Jennifer embodies all of Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics’ values, especially those of stewardship, teamwork, and accountability. Jennifer recently became certified to teach Basic Life Support and instructed the first of several classes this January to both ACMH staff and community members. Several individuals that took the course commented on how well run and organized the course was.”

Congratulations to Jennifer for the commitment to the care you provide to the patients at Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics.  ACMH looks forward to sharing these special award honorees with the community.
