ARNP – ED Provider/Hospitalist (PRN)

Position: ARNP- ED Provider/Hospitalist (PRN)
Department: Medical Staff
Hours: PRN shifts available monthly
General Description:
  • Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics is seeking an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our provider group in Audubon, Iowa. The opportunity provides for the ability to work in both the hospital and emergency room settings. The emergency department is staffed with full-time nurse practitioners and the 24/7 use of telemedicine with eAvera for eHospitalist and eEmergency.  Various shift options available including 24 and 12-hour shifts.
Experience/Education Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited ARNP program.
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Unrestricted license in the state of Iowa as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS required within 90 days of hire.
  • Credentialed as a provider with DEA number and prescriptive authority.
  • Prefer a minimum of two years’ experience in hospital and/or emergency medicine.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all members of the health care team.
  • Able to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change.
  • Working knowledge of computers and Electronic Health Records.

Plant Operations Specialist

Position: Plant Operations Specialist
Department: Plant Operations
Hours: Full Time
General Description:
Under general supervision of Administration, supports and maintains the organization’s facility operation, buildings, and grounds.  Assists in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of the facility in good repair.  Minor maintenance, repairs and other duties are the primary duties.  Assists with plumbing, electrical and HVAC maintenance. Constructs, repairs, and maintains wooden structures such as furniture, equipment, partitions, and other parts of the hospital buildings, using hand tools and power tools according to written and oral instructions.  Participates in rotating after hours/weekend on-call support.
Experience/Education Requirements:
A high school diploma, or equivalent, and a working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and structural building operational and maintenance systems is required. Certification in plant systems equipment is desirable. Strong oral communication skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.  Strong customer service orientation. A working knowledge of fire alarm and signal systems. A thorough knowledge of how to use and maintain plant tools and equipment. Knowledge and observance of safety precautions. Proficient in carpentry, boiler water testing, plumbing, painting/plastering, and other related skills.
