Sue Wede, is the medical secretary in the Rehab Services Department at Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics (ACMH) was honored with the 2026 ROSE Award. Sue Wede has worked at ACMH for over 15 years.
The ROSE Award is an acronym for Recognition of Service Excellence. The ROSE program shines a light on non-nursing employees that go beyond the expectations of their job descriptions. These service champions leave lasting impressions that bring true meaning to the phrase “Excellence with quality and compassion to those we serve.”
To be considered for this award, the employee must incorporate the following criteria of the ROSE award in their role at ACMH.
· Rapport: Develops close and harmonious relationships with the intention to understand and communicate with others effectively
· Optimistic: Displays the qualities of hope and positivity throughout the organization
· Sincere: Offers genuine, heartfelt sincerity and earnest devotion without reservation
· Empathy: Has the ability to understand various perspectives within others and respond to their experience in a compassionate and caring manner.
Nominations can be made by patients, family, friends, co-workers, or volunteers at any time throughout the year. Nominations are collected annually and reviewed by a volunteer committee of employees.
