ACA Health Insurance Open Enrollment is November 1 Through December 15

ACA health insurance enrollment begins Today (Nov. 1) and ends December 15. This is a shorter time period and not widely promoted information. If you need to look into Marketplace insurance with subsidies to help pay for it, do it now. ACMH Honored at National Rural Health Associate Annual Conference

A couple of weeks ago, ACMH Administration and Board Members attended the National Rural Health Association Annual Conference and accepted the NRHA Top 20 Critical Access Hospital (CAH) award. The Top 20 Critical Access Hospital recognition is given to those hospitals who have achieved success in overall performance based on eight indices of strength including inpatient market share, outpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspectives, costs, charges, and financial stability.

Audubon County Memorial Hospital & Clinics Welcomes New Full-Time General Surgeon

Audubon County Memorial Hospital & Clinics is proud to announce they have added a new member to the Outpatient Specialty Clinic and Surgical team as a full-time General Surgeon , Dr. Jeff Maire. Dr. Maire specializes in laparoscopic surgeries of the abdomen; such as gallbladder removal and hernia repair, breast biopsies, mastectomies, and also provides wound management care. He will also perform common procedures such as EGD’s, colonoscopies, vasectomies and appendectomies.

Save the Date for the Audubon County Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, September 23

Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics is hosting a free Health and Wellness Fair on September, 23, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for community members of all ages at the Audubon Community High School Activities Center and parking lot. The fair is a collaboration of healthcare facilities, public health, social service agencies, and emergency response agencies.
